Mountain Lakes 100 - Available
Mountain Lakes 100 is one of the country’s most scenic 100-milers. Starting and finishing at Olallie Lake, and running along dozens of lakes, this race features the best trail running Oregon has to offer – technical and rocky sections, views of mountain peaks in every direction, and 60 miles of luscious sections of the Pacific Crest Trail. The aid stations and support on the course is outstanding. You'll be greeted by experienced volunteers who are as focused on getting you to the finish as can be.
Registration is not a lottery.
This race is a Western States 100 qualifer.
If you end up on the wait list, know that we have gone through the entire wait list by the beginning of September the last few years. Train like you'll get in and do your trail work.
Willapa Trail Festival - Available
This course is flat as heck. It's a great option if you're looking set a new personal best finish time, or if you're running to complete your first ultra! Its seriously like a pancake. It’s without doubt one the flattest and fastest 100 mile and 50 mile courses you'll find in the PNW.
The Willapa Trail Festival Footraces starts and finishes at Owl and Olive Cafe, a beautiful event space located between the Willapa Hills State Park Trail and the banks of the upper Chehalis River. The 56 mile Willapa Hills Trail follows an old rail grade traversing the rolling hills and rivers of scenic southwest Washington from Chehalis to Raymond and ending in South Bend along the Willapa River and Willapa Bay. Running along this beautiful trail in autumn makes for an excellent running event experience for our modest entry fees.
Crown Stub 100 - availaBLE
Welcome to Stub Stewart State Park….. it is such a gem of the Oregon State Park system!
We are grateful to be able to utilize this amazing outdoor adventure hub as our home base for what we hope becomes one of the Premier 100 mile Ultramarathons in the Pacific Northwest!
The race has over 7,000ft of gain as it traverses a combination of the Banks Vernonia State Trail (primarily asphalt) the Crown Zellerbach Trail (primarily hard packed gravel) and roughly 10% of the course will be run on the dirt trails of the park itself. The course consists of a double out and back from the park…starting in a northerly direction on the Banks Vernonia Trail. As you come into the City of Vernonia you will be directed around Vernonia Lake, eventually linking up with The Crown Z Trail. The Crown Z Trail will take you on a ride in an easterly direction for roughly twenty miles, turning you around just before entering the City of Scappoose (Native American for “Gravelly Plain”) Ancesteral tribal lands of The Chinook.
Here you will turn around and retrace your steps back on the Crown Z & Banks Vernonia Trail (BVT). As you are making your way back, please encourage your fellow competitors & adventurers. Whether you are a seasoned vet of ultrarunning or this is your first step into the cave…. Ultrarunning is rooted in community, uplifting each other through kindness & encouragement. We please ask that you keep this tradition alive as a Bivouac Racing Participant.
When you reach the Stub Stewart Park crossing on the Banks Vernonia Trail (Stubby AS mile 72) you will continue in a southernly direction on the BVT for 10 miles, turning around in Banks. Retracing your steps back to the (Stubby AS mile 92). Here you will continue on the BVT for almost a mile before making a hard right turn on the Boomscooter Trail. From here you will follow the trail markings back to the Hill Top Day Use area. (mile 93.5)
You will see the finish line in all its glory…..but, you have One more lap. You will follow the 6.5 mile Stub Stewart Trail Challenge course for one time around. Upon completion you be able to embrace that Finish!'

The Dark Divide Trail Races will take you to seldom-traveled places that are unspeakably beautiful, soul-stirringly remote, and uncommonly rugged, in the heart of the Central Washington Cascades. Located in the center of Gifford-Pinchot National Forest, the Dark Divide is a land of stunning, serrated sub-alpine ridges painted by wildflowers and punctuated by peaks; deep, solitary valleys filled with centuries-old trees; wild streams tumbling unfettered over waterfalls into sparkling pools; viewscapes that feel like you can reach out and touch the surrounding glaciated volcanoes with your fingers… and a treasure of glimpses into the world as it once was.
